On 19 May 2026, the city of Kaunas will host the CINNAMON CAR-T Conference, a hybrid international event bringing together leading experts, clinicians, researchers, and innovators working in CAR-T therapy.
The conference will be held both on-site and online and it will provide a unique platform to discuss scientific, clinical, regulatory, and manufacturing challenges in the field of CAR-T therapies, with a particular emphasis on strengthening capacity and collaboration in emerging regions.
The event will open with remarks from the Chair Julio Delgado, followed by a session dedicated to CAR-T implementation in the Baltic region. Speakers from Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia and Finland will share first-hand experiences in establishing academic CAR-T programs and developing GMP-compliant manufacturing infrastructures.
A second session will address key regulatory, clinical, and manufacturing insights, including advances in biomarker discovery and lessons learned from European initiatives such as JOIN4ATMP. The programme will also highlight cutting-edge research through a Young Researchers Pitching Session, showcasing emerging talent and novel concepts in CAR-T development.
The conference will conclude with discussions on technological innovation and future perspectives, featuring contributions from industry on scalable manufacturing and decentralised CAR-T solutions.
